Love Island viewers are concerned about Curtis Pritchard and Amy Hart's fledgling relationship after he gave an "unenthusiastic" response about their future outside of the villa.

The pair have been coupled up since the start of the show and seemed to be one of the strongest duos on the Island after Curtis asked Amy to be his "half-girlfriend" in the Hideaway earlier this month.

Yet, when Amy, 26, asked Curtis, 23, on Wednesday night's show whether he thinks their relationship would work when they leave the villa, the ballroom dancer gave a lukewarm response about the prospect.

While eating his breakfast, a seemingly unsure Curtis at first said, "yeah", before adding: "We don't know what's going to happen.

Confident about her feelings, Amy responded: "But I actually quite like you, funnily enough."

But the comment didn't play too much on Curtis' head when he half-heartedly answered: "Yeah", again without evening looking at her.

The awkward moment didn't go unnoticed by viewers, who immediately picked up on the tension and shared their thoughts on Twitter.

A viewer commented: "Curtis is over Amy lol he shook his head no body language speaks volumes."

"I really don't think Curtis is actually into Amy as much she is with him," another shared.

A third agreed: "Lol Curtis wanting enthusiasm from Amy about his omelette but being very unenthusiastic about their relationship."

While one echoed what many viewers picked up on: "Curtis is so unenthusiastic about him and Amy on the outside."

Despite many picking up on Curtis' apparent reluctance, Amy seemed oblivious when she spoke in the Beach Hut and admitted she was hoping the dancing pro would ask her to be his girlfriend.

She said: "I'm really happy with the way things are going with Curtis, I just wish he'd bloody hurry up and ask me to be his girlfriend.

"I don't really understand what he's waiting for now."

Hopefully this isn't the beginning of the end for the pair!

Love Island continues on ITV2 tonight at 9pm.
