Kim Woodburn Apologises To Coleen Nolan After Loose Women Row

Kim Woodburn has spoken out about presenter Coleen Nolan losing her job on Loose Women after their argument live on air.

The How Clean Is Your House? star has said that she has had a change of heart after originally campaigning for Coleen to be fired from the show.

After their showdown in August, Kim called for Coleen to be fired after their 'disgusting ambush'.

However, the 76-year-old has now done a complete U-turn, telling new! magazine: "I was asked to do Loose Women and I didn't think it would turn out like it did - very hurtful.

"I was shocked as much as anybody else that it happened. I was told that it was a reconciliation on Coleen's behalf.

"I don't know if the producers didn't tell her, or if they conned both of us to get us on."

She continued: "I don't wish her any harm and I'm sorry she has no job on Loose Women.

"I can say hand on heart, I didn't cause it and I hope, in time, she gets back on her feet."

Her management issued a statement on Twitter, it read: "Following the constant online bullying, trolling and misrepresentation of her words actions and reactions, it is with sad regret that Coleen is taking an immediate hiatus from all her current commitments including Loose Women and postponing her Never Too Late solo concert tour.

"Coleen has spent 50 years in showbusiness and 18 years as one of the most loved members of the Loose Women panel, and has never been subjected to such a horrifying torrent of online abuse of such a heart-breaking attack on her reputation."

Coleen appeared on This Morning to speak about the incident after a petition reached over 24,000 signatures asking for her to be fired from the show, but has stayed mostly silent on the incident.

Taking to Twitter a few weeks ago, Coleen shared a quote that read: "Change your thoughts. Transform your life." with a sunset in the background.

Fans rushed to support Coleen and sent her messages of encouragement.

One user wrote: "Missing seeing you on Loose Women. Please please come back Coleen [sic]".

Another added: "Coleen you have to come back on Loose Women. Its not the same without you. Hope to see you back soon you are a lovely lady lots of love[sic]".
