We've been a bit short on quality new movie releases as of late (thanks COVID), but the trailer for Free Guy has just been released and it looks SO good.

We had to do a double take when we saw who was in it though - as Jodie Comer most definitely does not look like Jodie Comer. In fact, she's now a brunette with a cute bob and glasses and we have to say, it's a look that suits her!

You can watch the trailer here:

The Killing Eve actress stars alongside Ryan Reynolds and Joe Keery (aka Steve from Stranger Things) in this new action comedy, which follows Guy (Reynolds) as a character in a video game.

Guy is given a deeper awareness of himself and his surroundings after real world programmers Milly and Keys (Comer and Keery) change the game's code.

While Guy's usual role in the video game involves being shot at on his way to work at a bank which is being robbed, he now joins forces with Milly to stop the game being shut down forever.

Do we smell a virtual romance coming on?

That's all we know right now, but Free Guy is due to be released on 11th December, so there's less than two months to wait.

Free Guy is just one of a number of good movies set to be released before the end of the year. Pixar's Soul also looks incredible, following Joe Gardner (Jamie Foxx) - a man who basically lives to play jazz music. It's all he talks about and all he thinks about.

In fact, Soul has got such great reviews that it's scored a rating of 100 per cent on review aggregator site, Rotten Tomatoes.

Finally, 2020 is looking up!
