Jack Maynard Axed From I'm A Celebrity
Jack Maynard has been axed from I'm A Celebrity.
ITV reportedly took the decision following rumours regarding behaviour before he was on the show.
An ITV spokesman said: "Due to circumstances outside camp Jack has had to withdraw from the show."
This comes after the former campmate was forced to apologise over a slur of racist and homophobic tweets posted from his account between 2011 and 2013.
The tweets, allegedly written by Maynard, contain the racist N word, as well as referring to people as 'retards'.
Jack's representative told The Sun: "Jack is ashamed of these tweets, many were deleted a long time ago.
"He would never use that language now and realises this kind of retaliatory, inflammatory, insulting language is completely unacceptable."
An ITV spokeswoman also said: "Jack has issued a full apology and has deleted the tweets that he sent."
Upon entering the jungle, Jack referred to himself as "a YouTube sensation", which angered some viewers, who didn't believe he qualified as enough of a celeb.
Thankfully for Jack, some viewers had this back...
