GBBO Viewers In Stitches Over Dan's Rude 'Penis-Shaped' Biscuit

Great British Bake Off viewers were left in hysterics after baker Dan Beasley-Harling's selfie biscuit took a rude turn.

The Great British Bake Off made it's return to our TV screens last night, and viewers were not dissapointed when it took less than an hour for a challenge to turn a little bit rude.

During the showstopper challenge the contestants were asked to create a selfie portrait of themselves in a memorable place or moment.

Baker Dan Beasley-Harling decided to recreate the special moment where he met his child for the first time in Palm Springs.

However, the finished selfie made it look like he was holding something completely different to the baby he had intended to replicate.

Co-baker Kim Joy was the first person to point out that the baby actually looked like a penis, and judge Paul Hollywood agreed but refused to say it looked slightly phallic and instead compared it to a 'massive prawn'.

However, viewers weren't afraid to point out the rude comparison branding it the 'biscuit penis'.

One said: "Anyone else think that baby looks like a penis?? #bakeoff#GBBO"

Another added:"Dan's first born looks like he's cradling a little pink penis #GBBO"

A third tweeted: "My mother has been creasing herself laughing for a good 15 minutes now over the penis biscuit #GBBO".

However, Dan's 'penis biscuit' was enough to help him make it to next week, with Imelda McCarron being the first baker to leave the tent.

The phallic turn of the show came just after Paul Hollywood commented that tongue-in-cheek innuendos 'weren't the be all and end all of the show'.

Speaking about the change of tone for the series, Paul said: "I think innuendo is funny. I suppose it's been part of Bake Off for a few years, but it's not the be-all and end-all in Bake Off.

However, the show veteran hinted that the lack of saucy innuendos could lead to a spin off show in the future so viewers won't miss out altogether.

"Maybe we should do an outtakes thing after 11pm."
