The Great British Bake Off's batch of 2019 contestants have now been revealed ahead of its launch next month.
The Channel 4 show is back with a cast of 13 baking pros, who will all battle it out in the hopes of winning the coveted Bake Off trophy, and a maybe even a handshake from Paul Hollywood if they're lucky.

Also joined by judge Prue Leith and hosts Noel Fielding and Sandi Toksvig, this year's cohort includes a trucker, a fashion designer and a fitness instructor in what looks sure to be one of the most exciting and eclectic line ups to date.
According to Paul Hollywood, this year's contestants are an "emotional bunch," meaning we can be sure drama will be flying left right and centre.
The series usually runs for 10 weeks, and promises everything from red velvet cakes, to peculiar tray bakes to a vast array of kooky shirts from Noel, should it be anything like last year.

Last year, Rahul Mandal was crowned the winner after he beat off stiff competition from Kim-Joy and Ruby Bhogal in the final.

Dan, 32, is a support worker from London. He's loved baking since he was little, and has fond memories of learning how to make Victoria sponge with his mum. However, he started to take baking seriously aged 21 to impress his girlfriend with a themed birthday cake. (Side note: It obviously went well, as she's now his wife).

Chester-based shop assistant Steph, 28, first got into baking through her granddad, who loved making homemade bread. She's taught herself cooking from scratch and has a particular interest in health and wellness, often making healthier bakes using fruit and veg and nutritional fats.
Henry

Henry, 20, might still be a student, currently studying at Durham Uni, but his baking skills are far from amateur. He started toiling in the kitchen aged 12, and fell in love with baking when he came across the Bake Off tent in his local park.
Now he's keen to return to prove he's got what it takes, after spending years experimenting on bakes for his family and friends.
Phil
Essex-based Phil, 56, is an HGV driver who has had a love of cooking since his school days. He first picked up his skills in home economics class, but now trains hard in his own free time, rustling up bakes in the kitchen as many as four to five times a week.
While his job is far from dainty, he's got a knack for fine pastry and breads, and particularly likes cooking focaccia, granary bread and brioche. Who would have thought?!
David
David, 36, is a London-based health advisor who grew up in Yorkshire. When he was younger, he was surrounded by home baking from a young age thanks to his mum's impressive culinary skills, and soon picked up his own expertise.
He has honed his baking on his travels to Malawi, among other destinations, with work - where he often gets inventive, creating a cake that could steam over a village fire and also building an oven out of an oil drum.
Amelia
Born to a Caribbean father and half British-half Polish mother, sportswear fashion designer Amelia, 24, started baking 19 years ago, after watching her mum and grandmother craft beautiful cake decorations.
While she now lives in London, she also hails from Yorkshire, having grown up in Halifax, and credits her Northern roots as a key inspiration behind her bakes.
Jamie
Part-time waiter Jamie, 20, was inspired to start baking properly after watching an episode of Bake Off. He went away and made a plaited loaf and has been mastering difficult bakes such as croquembouche or croissants at his home in Surrey ever since.
Growing up with an identical twin, Jamie learnt to bake thanks to training from his parents and grandmother, and isn't afraid of experimenting with quirky flavours he comes across in his home.
Michelle
Michelle, 35, is a print shop worker from Tenby, Wales, who finds time to bake in the kitchen almost every other day.
She likes baking anything from a simple loaf to a more complex dessert, and given that she grew up on a farm, it's not surprising that she favours fresh veg from her very own vegetable patch, and likes using local produce.
Helena
Online project manager Helena, 40, lives in Leeds and fell in love with baking after watching her Spanish grandmother in the kitchen. She's moved around a lot throughout her life: Born in North Africa, she grew up in Lanzarote before studying in mainland Spain and later in Las Vegas, where she stayed with her Mormon family.
It was while in the US she learnt to bake, and still likes to use American flavours to this day - such as pumpkin, pecans, maple and cinnamon - alongside more traditional Spanish paprika and almond notes.
Priya
Marketing consultant Priya, 34, started baking in her after school club at primary school. Her love of baking became a passion seven years ago when she was given a mixer as a wedding gift, and has since started experimenting with vegan delicacies.
When she isn't baking, Priya is busy writing her own novel. She's certainly got her fingers in a lot of pies!
Michael
Michael, 26, is a fitness instructor and theatre manager from Stratford upon-Avon, who was born in Newcastle but moved to Scotland aged seven, to live in aptly named Scone. His baking is inspired by tastes and flavours from his Indian heritage.
Rosie
Veterinary surgeon Rosie, 28, lives in Somerset with her husband and a house full of animals. She started baking as young as five after being given a kid's baking book as a gift.
Now, Rosie bakes through the night to unwind after a busy day operating on drunken hedgehogs and performing spleen surgery on dogs.
Alice
Essex born geography teacher Alice, 28, started baking aged 15, when scoliosis stopped her from pursuing her sporting passions at school. She later perfected her fruit pavlova in New Zealand in her early 20s.
Living and working in East London today, Alice is such a baking fanatic that she even uses her cakes to help teach topics such as coastal erosion and volcanic activity - we hope she lets the students eat them afterwards!
The new series of Bake Off returns to Channel 4 on Tuesday 27 August at 8pm.
