The fashion guru, who is standing in for Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield alongside Rylan Clark-Neal, looked visibly spooked when he was told that he was about to be faced with one of his greatest fears.

Gok was left 'shaking' and looked close to tears as the duo spoke about a 'terrifying' rise in numbers of snakes on the loose in the UK.

Following their conversation, it wasn't long before Gok made a swift exit from the studio, and to be honest, who can blame him?

Unsurprisingly, viewers were quick to comment on the events, and took to Twitter to express their feelings.

"Gok, the snake phobia... you're not alone. I watched Rylan and was cringing, turned away felt a panic attack developing. Love you two guys you're a breath of freshair [sic]," commented one sympathetic fan.

Another suggested: "I think gok should do one of the fears slots on this morning and get over his fear of snakes they are beautiful creatures and make great pets."

"Gok's reaction to snakes is how my husband reacts to spider," joked a third.

While a fourth added: "Poor Gok snakes terrify so many people! Should've made sure they were well away from him. My heart goes out to him. So brave for even being in the same studio!! Rylan was his hero!"

Best keep the snakeskin bags away, then.
