Great British Bake Off star Briony Williams has convinced fans she's in the final with a snap of her new tattoos.

The 33-year-old unveiled three brand new tats consisting of a kitchen whisker, a piping bag and a rolling pin, paying homage to her time on the baking programme.

"My cheeky little Bake Off tattoo I got a week ago now," she told her followers.

"I got it because GBBO was just the most incredible, wonderful, glorious experience and I wanted something fun to represent that.

"I absolutely love it @bexedwards_tattooist especially the piping bag."

Fans of the baker rushed to the comment section to compliment the new tattoos, and some were left convinced it was a subtle nod that she'd earned a place in final.

One excited fan commented: "Ahhhh it's so lovely, is this a hint at your amazing baking journey... to the finals possibly hmmm well well we shall see, so much love [sic]."

Other fans were quick to congratulate Briony on being crowned star baker last week after impressing Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith on her mouth-watering pie.

"Luv it! Congratulations on pastry week Star Baker," one gushed while another added: "Congratulations on star baker - that mad hatter show stopper was brilliant!"

Briony first revealed she was getting a Bake Off themed tattoo last month when she showed off a heart tattoo on what she calls her 'little hand'.

She said: "A few years ago I got a heart tattoo on my little hand, it was really pale pink so you could barely see it but it was my way of finally accepting my hand as part of me.

"It took me nearly 30 years to get there but I got there."

Briony continued: "Today I got it redone by the simply awesome @bexedwards_tattooist so it's brighter and clearer to see because now I'm proud of my hand, it's part of who I am and what I've achieved.

"I also may have got a cheeky little baking tattoo but that's for another time. Thank you Bex, I love them."

GBBO continues at 8pm on Channel 4 on Tuesday.
