Despite the cult comedy series Schitt's Creek ending earlier this year, it still manages to intrigue and entertain fans. From news of a possible movie, to President Joe Biden's apparent reference during his victory speech, there's a lot out there to keep fans obsessed with it.
It seems that many fans have suddenly uncovered a fact about their favourite show they never realised until now.
Yep, fans are now discovering that series stars Daniel Levy and Eugene Levy, who play father and son David Rose and Johnny Rose, are father and son in real life.
Despite sharing a surname, an uncanny resemblance including an affinity for thick, black rimmed glasses, many fans did not clock on the pair are actually related.

Responding to a tweet which reacted to people realising that Catherine O'Hara, aka Moira Rose, is the mother from Home Alone, one Twitter user said: "Today I realised Johnny Rose and David are father/son IRL".
Another user tweeted: "Aye soooo am I just late or did everybody else know the David Rose off Schitt's Creek is Johnny Rose's son IRL???"
A third person shared: "Annnnd...*gasp...Schitt's Creek's Johnny Rose and David Rose are father and son Eugene Levy and Dan Levy IRL!"

Twitter users shared more reactions, with one woman tweeting: "It took me until Season 5 to learn David & Johnny rose are real life father & son!"

A fan of the show also shared their shock. She said: "Just found out that Johnny Rose and David are father and son in real life!!! Omfg the tears are back and I will be rewatching that show immediately".

The Emmy-winning sitcom began in 2015 and aired six seasons. In addition to Daniel and Eugene Levy, the show also starred Catherine O'Hara and Annie Murphy as a the wealthy Rose family, who are forced to flee their luxurious lifestyle to a small town and live in a hotel after they lose their fortune.
Last month Dan, discussed the possibility of a movie based on the show. Speaking to E! News!, he said that while there aren't any current plans for a movie, there was definitely potential for one in the future.
"I would love for there to be," he explained. I'm not ruling it out."
