FriendsFest will become FriendsFestive for one year only as the annual celebration of the hit 90s sitcom adds Christmas dates to its tour.

This year marks 25 years since the show started and to mark the milestone, FriendsFest are pulling out all the stops with a special festive edition.

On top of their normal tour dates, they are adding winter tour dates, which run from Thursday 28th November right through to Saturday 21st December at London's Truman Brewery in Shoreditch.

Like usual FriendsFests, fans will be able to step into famous sets such as Central Perk, Monica and Rachel's apartment and Joey and Chandler's, except this time, they'll all be dressed for the festive season.

To make it Christmas appropriate, they're even adding new areas. You can 'ring the bell outside the mall' just as Phoebe did with her charity collecting, grab a picture at the New Years disco where Monica and Ross performed 'the routine', or join Phoebe's Christmas singalong.

You can even reenact the floating heads scene in 'The One With The Late Thanksgiving', recreate the opening titles in the snow, and even visit the Holiday Armadillo's grotto.

On top of this you'll be able to enjoy festive food and drinks and take home exclusive merchandise.

Friends, created by David Crane and Marta Kauffman, premiered on 22nd September 1994 on NBC. The original title of the sitcom was Insomnia Café, then Across the Hall and then Six of One. After NBC bought the pilot, the sitcom became Friends Like Us., and then eventually settled on Friends.

While Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Courteney Cox, Matthew Perry, David Schwimmer and Matt LeBlanc make up the iconic cast now, many different characters were originally intended for the roles of Rachel, Phoebe, Monica, Chandler, Ross and Joey.

Kathy Griffin and Jane Lynch auditioned for the part of Phoebe, while both Jon Favreau and Jon Cryer were considered for the role of Chandler. Will and Grace's Eric McCormack auditioned three times for the role of Ross, but the role was eventually written for David Schwimmer, who casting directors deemed perfect.
