A gripping two-part documentary about the evil crimes of Fred and Rose West is on its way to Channel 5, with the first episode kicking off on Monday.
The documentary delves into the case of Mary Bastholm, who has dominated the headlines recently, as police made the decision to excavate the grounds of a cafe in Gloucester, over suspicions the teenager could be buried there.
Mary went missing on her way to catch a bus to visit her boyfriend in Gloucester in January 1968 and West, who died in prison in 1995 aged 53, has long been suspected over her disappearance.

The documentary tells the story of how West, along with his wife Rose, tortured, raped and murdered an unknown number of women over a 20-year period.
It also looks at the individual cases of the 12 women known to have been brutally tortured and murdered at the hands of the couple.
The doc will feature exclusive witness testimony from those closest to the victims - many of whom who have never spoken out before.

It will also investigate how the couple's heinous crimes went undetected for so many years, revealing the true horror of what took place at their address, 25 Cromwell Street.
Known as the house of horrors, it was here where the bodies of nine young women were found buried in the cellar and garden, including their own daughter, Heather Ann, who was 16 when her parents took her life.
"As victim after victim is uncovered by investigators, we hear their stories: families, surviving victims and key witnesses come forward to reveal the real people behind the grisly headlines, and details of the lives that were tragically cut short," Channel 5 explain.
With investigations still taking place in Gloucester, the programme delves into whether the search will continue for more victims and whether many other families will ever get closure.

The two-part documentary begins on Monday 7th June at 9pm on Channel 5, with the concluding episode airing on Tuesday 8th June at 9pm.
