A First Dates star felt the full force of Twitter after checking the football score in the middle of dinner, not before branding his date a '6.5'.
Becky and Lee's date seemed to be going well as they found common ground over their love for food. And at one point, it seemed like a second date was a given as Lee, who is a chef, offered to cook for Becky in future.
Thank you all so so so so much for the kind and thoughtful comments  it's hard to bare your soul so cheerrsss buddies #firstdates #becky #firstdatesbecky #thankyou # pic.twitter.com/cGANyDVanQ

But things took a turn for the worse when the 36-year-old interrupted his date to ask waiter Grant Urquhart to make sure he kept him updated with the football score for a Manchester United game.
"What are you talking about?" asked Becky, with Lee replying: "I'm football crazy. United kicked off literally when our date started."
Becky then suggested checking the score on his phone himself, and Lee went right ahead.
When Lee pressed Grant again for the score, the waiter replied: "You're on a date, you don't need the football, you've got a pretty lady in front of you."
Lee then went for a 'cigarette' outside (aka checking the football score by calling up his friend). And then to top it all off, he called mum-of-two Becky a '6.5'.
Despite the earlier possibility of a second date, Lee told waiter Grant that he 'didn't fancy' Becky as he usually goes for someone a 'bit taller, bit slimmer'.
And to make matters ever worse, Becky seemed to have been able to overlook Lee's date etiquette, as she raved about him while on the phone in the First Dates bathroom.
Viewers of the Channel 4 dating show took to social media, willing Becky to find a better suitor for herself.
#FirstDates Becky and chef boy sharing food, looks like it's going well at the moment but then he spoils it by asking about the football results. Ditch him Becky, you will never be his first love.

"it's about a 6 and a half"... What the hell. Calling a woman "it"?! She's stunning and he's hardly Ryan Gosling. #firstdates

Someone a bit taller and a bit slimmer? There's a reason you are on your own pal.

If this isn't the disapproving look of the entire nation right now whilst watching #Lee be an absolute tool! She's stunning and your judgement based purely on looks is beyond shallow. Pity any girls unfortunate enough to meet you #FirstDates @FirstDates pic.twitter.com/dbl3mZMMip

"Oh my goodness, Becky deserves someone so much better than Leigh!" shared one person.
While another declared: "I want to punch Lee in the face on behalf of all woman."
"Lee has actually ruined my night with his arseholery.
I hope Becky looks at Twitter and sees that the entire nation is in agreement that she is way too good for him.
She is also NOT a 6.5 - she is absolutely stunning!!" tweeted somebody else.
Thankfully, Becky will get another shot at finding love on the show, as she'll also be appearing next week... hopefully with a better match.
