Celebrity Big Brother host Emma Willis rained for three months to become a midwife for her latest television series Emma Willis: Delivering Babies.
Emma trained for three months at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Essex as a Maternity Care Assistant and worked four shifts a week alongside the midwives.
The crash course in Midwifery saw Emma fulfil cleaning duties, help the midwives deliver babies and of course take charge of the very important tea round.
Wanting to fully throw herself into it Emma worked 13 hour shifts and said that since giving birth to her first daughter Isabelle, she has been in awe of all the work midwives do.

The six-part series follows Emma as she finds out what it takes to be 'on the front line' on a maternity ward.
Speaking on The Jonathan Ross Show, Emma explained how the show did make her broody at first but she soon got over that when she was reminded how much hard work babies are.
She said: "It was amazing and terrifying in equal measure. This could have been my life so you get to have a little snippet of what your life could have been like but you still get to have this lovely telly side of it as well, the way you're seeing it.

"Initially I got very broody because babies smell amazing and they're cute and you just want to cuddle them.
"Then you come in a couple of days later and you see that knackered mum with sore nipples and bits hurting and the sleepless nights and you go: 'Do you know what, I've got three crackers'."
Throughout the series, Emma witnesses both home births and more dramatic ones in a theatre, but one of Emma's most memorable moments was a home birth during episode one.

Emma watched parents, Laura and Antonio, welcome their third child in the front room of their family home.
After taking part in the emotional moment, Emma said: "Watching that little baby come out was honestly one of the best things I've seen in my life.
"It is just incredible to see somebody give birth like that in their own home, so calm and focused, and what got me the most full of humour still.
"I am incredibly lucky and this is someone's job this is what people do every single day. I am wasting my time in telly."

During the series, viewers are also introduced to the midwives who work on the wards day to day.
One of the midwives is Val, who revealed when she started working as a Maternity Care Assistant, there were roughly 1,500 births a year but that number has now risen to 4,000 births a year.
