Fans of Don't Tell The Bride were left confused during the latest episode when they noticed groom Nathan appeared to have a wedding ring on before the ceremony.

Nathan organised a sixties rave themed big day for his less than impressed bride-to-be, Beccie, but in the middle of the tantrums viewers spotted a major error.

On the morning of the wedding Nathan waited outside for his chauffeur driven Mini, as he got into the car viewers spotted that he already had a wedding band on.

Channel 4 told Fabulous Online that the scene was filmed before the ceremony and that the ring in question was "an engagement ring Nathan had from Beccie and not his wedding band".

However, it's not the first time fans have questioned how "real" the show is.

Last year, contestants confessed the ceremonies they plan are not legally binding.

One groom said: "It was written into our contract that our ceremony would not be legally binding and so we should go to a register office later.

"That is what we did. But we had no follow up from anyone from the show after the filming, so we could easily have avoided it and had the party for free.

"It makes a bit of a mockery of the process that the bride and groom go through this huge ordeal for a ceremony which isn't even legal."

The episode also caused backlash on social media after viewers branded the bride 'sour faced' for complaining about her partners plans for the big day.

Beccie told the show that dream had been to be a princess for a day, walking down a staircase in a stately home, yet Nathan somehow failed to pick up on this, and instead decided a "Northern Soul themed wedding" was the answer.

Beccie said she preferred a more "Disney" approach to weddings, and Nathan's decision to make everything about music, and to some extent, him, certainly rubbed Beccie and her bridesmaids up the wrong way.

Beccie also refused to wear the Irregular Choice shoes he had bought for her, and instead wore a pair of her own as she disliked them so much.
