Mary Poppins and all of her friends are back just in time for Christmas, as Walt Disney released the highly anticipated trailer for the sequel of the 1964 movie on Monday, but one actor in particular has got people talking.

Fans spotted Dick Van Dyke in the trailer for the upcoming flick, although he won't be reprising his role as Mr Dawes, as he died from laughing in the original film, and the actor's instead been cast as Mr Dawes Jr.

But everyone's saying the same thing after seeing Dick in the two-minute long trailer, pointing out that it seems like he hasn't aged a day, just like Mary Poppins herself.

The original movie was released over 50 years ago in 1964, when Dick was 39-years-old, so you would expect him to have aged a little now that he is 92.

"Mary Poppins Returns is proof that Dick Van Dyke hasn't aged a day in 50 years," exclaimed one person.

And another tweeted: "Have you seen Dick Van Dyke? He looks exactly the same!"

"Just watched the Mary Poppins Returns trailer and noticed two things, 1) Dick Van Dyke is clearly immortal and 2) Mary Poppins has the same stylist as Agent Carter," joked a third.

While it may seem like Dick holds the secret to anti-ageing, plenty of people did point out that he was most likely wearing prosthetics during filming for the original.

"Dick Van Dyke is playing the same old man he played before, now without prosthetics," mused one person.

While another added: "We got the Marry Poppins trailer (the best part being Dick Van Dyke playing Mr. Dawes Jr yet again, except this time he doesn't need any prosthetics."

Dick will be joined by Emily Blunt taking over the role of Mary Poppins from Julie Andrews, Meryl Streep as Topsy-Turvy Poppins and Colin Firth is also joining the cast as Fidelity Fiduciary Bank's William Weatherall Wilkins.

Ben Whishaw and Emily Mortimier will be portraying grown-up Banks children Michael and Jane - the kids that Mary used to look after.

Pixie Davies, Joel Dawson and Nathanael Saleh star as Michael's children, Lin-Manuel Miranda is Mary's close friend and London street lamplighter, Jack - the apprentice from the first film will also appear.

Dame Angela Lansbury will be appearing as The Balloon Lady, and Julie Walters as Ellen the family's housemaid.
