'Dancing On Ice' Crew Member Proposes To Girlfriend During Show

The Dancing On Ice audience were left in awe on Sunday night when a member of the crew surprised his girlfriend and mother of his child by dropping down on one knee.

ITV crew member Tony shocked the audience and left Patsy speechless, but the heartwarming moment wasn't shown on Sunday's live show.

Toby took advantage of his working status by getting the emcee to pull Patsy out of the crowd and bring her down to the ice, where a podium was waiting for her next to a stool.

Unsure as to what was going on, Patsy took a seat as the warm-up comedian introduced her to the studio audience, who looked on curious about what was about to happen.

Toby and Patsy's daughter Ivy was in the crowd, along with another member of Patsy's family, and they both waved to the camera as it panned round to them.

The comedian told Patsy: "It's funny, I knew you were going to be here today, Patsy, because I've got someone very, very special that would like to have a quick word with you.

"I'm going to bring in my friend Toby, Toby who is a big part of the show here, he's one of our riggers.

"Toby, can you come over here a moment? Oh look! I wonder what they're dropping off here?"

Four professional skaters came past, each holding a beautiful bouquet of red roses and dropped them off at the podium next to Patsy.

The comedian continued: "This is just for you. Can I have a round of applause please for our amazing professional skaters?

"There we are - we've got the flowers, we just need one other person now. I wonder where he could be? Could we be descending from up above? Could he be coming out onto the ice-skating rink? Oh, it's Valentine's Day, maybe this is something to do with Valentine's Day?"

A nervous looking Toby then walked out of the tunnel as the crowd cheered, before hugging her and promptly dropping down on one knee and revealing the ring.

Wiping back tears, Patsy accepted his proposal before the crowd went wild for them. How romantic.
