Whether you're all loved up or single and ready to mingle, Valentine's Day doesn't have to be all about your S.O. or lack there-of. Enter Galentine's Day and Everyman Cinemas nationwide screenings of Legally Blonde and Mean Girls on Wednesday, 13th February 2019.
Time to celebrate, get your girl gang together, drink basic cocktails, and have a quote along to some of the most iconic movies of our time. That's so fetch. Yeh, you get it.
The event description reads: "Inspired by Ariana Grande's instantly iconic single 'Thank U, Next' and the films it parodied, we're showing a cult classic chick flick: Mean Girls - the story of new student Cady Heron who gets into the wrong crowd...the A-List clique The Plastics. [And] Legally Blonde -the story of LA beauty Elle Woods and her journey to law school,.Tickets also include a cocktail to enjoy alongside the film."
The video for Ariana's 'Thank U, Next,' famously featured OG Mean Girls Aaron Samuels star, Jonathan Bennett as she parodied noughties movies including Bring It On and Legally Blonde to 13 Going on 30 and Mean Girls.
Mean Girls will be shown on the big screen at Everyman Cinemas in Barnet, Esher, Glasgow, Harrogate, Liverpool and in Birmingham, while you can catch Legally Blonde at Altrincham, Chelmsford, Crystal Palace, Leeds, Muswell Hill, Stratford-Upon-Avon and York.
Ticket prices vary, but screenings will kick off at 8pm. Just enough time to gift each other (7 rings, perhaps?) and get your snacks and drink on before it kicks off then. Romantic.
