Channel 5 Is Looking For People To Take Part In This Show With Their Exes

Channel 5 Is Looking For People To Take Part In This Show With Their Exes

If you're anything like me, the idea of spending any kind of extended amount of time with your ex makes you feel like being sick. Well, not that nice ex who was lovely but it just didn't work... you know the one I mean. He might have cheated, he might have just been a bit of an arse. Yeah, him.

Well anyway, Channel 5 are looking for people to spend a whole evening with their ex all in the name of television. Urm... I'll pass.

The TV show, One Night With My Ex, was broadcast earlier this year. And it seems to have done so well that they're now looking for people for a brand-spanking new series.

Look how awkward it is...

To be completely fair, despite the fact that this is all kinds of cringe-inducing, it is good telly. And maybe there'll be some couples who reunite? We could witness true love being reignited and everyone wants that.

I still can't get over the idea of being completely alone with someone who broke your heart and it all being caught on camera. Imagine being caught 'ugly crying' and it being broadcast to millions of people.

The website reads: "Do you have a past relationship holding you back? Our positive and heartfelt TV series will give you the chance to resolve things once and for all!

"Award winning TV company Twofour Broadcast (makers of Educating Yorkshire [Channel 4] and This Time Next Year [ITV]) is looking for people to take part in a prime-time TV series. Whatever your story we want to hear from you!"

The only thing is that all applicants must be 18 or over and be based in the UK. Not a problem. I can think of about ten of my mates who would be great on this.

We do all have a mate who probably needs to get over their ex. Or a mate who just needs to have a slanging match with them. So this kind of seems perfect for them. But not me. Never me.
