We're feeling a little sorry for the CBBC social media team right now, as what we're sure was meant to be a little harmless fun has prompted a full-scale backlash on Twitter.
We mean, we don't feel that sorry for them, because who in their right mind would rate Raven more highly than ChuckleVision? Or put The Story of Tracey Beaker at the same level as The Basil Brush Show? The Basil what now?
Ok, maybe we're a little riled up too. Let us explain...
Yesterday (August 21st), the official Children's BBC Twitter account posted a meme that placed many of its popular shows into tiers. There was the 'Legend Tier', 'Top Tier', 'Mid Tier' and 'Hmmm Tier' and judging by the results, CBBC really don't know their audience all too well.

Before we get into the debate, here's what made up each tier:
Legend tier: Horrible Histories, Dick & Dom in da Bungalow, 5050, The Secret Show, Sorry I've Got No Head, Trapped, Prank Patrol, Raven, Get Your Own Back. MI High, The Slammer and The Sarah Jane Adventures
Top tier: Mona the Vampire, Stupid, The Basil Brush Show, Young Dracula, Smart, and The Story Of Tracey Beaker

Mid tier: Bamzooki, ChuckleVision, Transmission Impossible with Ed and Oucho, Chute, Get 100 and Shaun the Sheep
Hmm tier: The Legend of Dick and Dom, Dennis the Menace, Deadly 60, TMI, Newsround and Ooglies
The Twitter account posted this grid alongside the caption: "Did we get it right?" No, CBBC. No you didn't.

And absolutely nobody on Twitter agrees either, with DJ Greg James one of the first to kick off the debate saying: "Delete your account for not giving Chuckle Vision a god-like tier of its own. The BBC would have died without that show. Also, you're high if you're putting Newsround down there. And don't get me started on Backshall's position. This is a disgrace."
And he didn't stop there. "OHHHH FFS YOU FORGOT LIVE AND KICKING ALTOGETHER" he tweeted, followed by: "OH GOD!!!! ACTUAL BLUE PETER LITERALLY THE MOST FAMOUS TV SHOW WE'VE EVER MADE DIDN'T GET A LOOK IN."
Fellow Radio 1 DJ Chris Stark posted a gif of our favourite
aardvark Arthur who is astonishingly missing from the list, captioned: "Arthur
just on his way round to slap whoever made this...", while Blue Peter presenter
Lindsay Russell is all of us when she simply replied: "No."
Members of the public are similarly outraged, with one saying:
"I've just noticed that Chucklevision is mid tier and I almost fainted."

We feel this guy's pain: "Such disrespect to us who watched in the 90s. Btw the PEAK CBBC years! Where is Live & Kicking, Byker Grove, Grange Hill, Queen's Nose, Demon Headmaster, Blue Peter, Run The Risk? How is Newsround & Deadly 60 so low? The absolute disgrace where Chucklevision is."
Here are a few more people who simply aren't having it...
Looks like someone over at CBBC needs a stern talking to.
