Psychological thriller The Sinner has been renewed for a third season, USA Network has confirmed.
Bill Pullman will return to his role Detective Harry Ambrose, however this time he will appear beside a brand new face.
Will & Grace and Doom Patrol actor Matt Bomer will star alongside Pullman in a new recurring role as a character called Jamie.

Jamie is a resident of Dorchester and is about to become a father, he eventually will be forced to turn to Detective Ambrose for help after an accident. Or so we're told, anyway.
The actor recently took to Instagram to share his joy at joining the cast, telling his followers: "Words can't really explain the excitement I feel getting to be a part of a show that I'm such a fan of, not to mention working with this incredible cast.
"Also: it's really nice to be coming home to @USA_Network - can't wait!"
But what can we expect from season three? Well, USA Network, the company who makes the show - despite it being shown on Netflix here in the UK - has put together a handy little synopsis on its website to give us a taste of what's to come.

It tells us: "The Sinner's third instalment follows Detective Harry Ambrose (Pullman) as he begins a routine investigation of a tragic car accident on the outskirts of Dorchester, in upstate New York.
"Ambrose uncovers a hidden crime that pulls him into the most dangerous and disturbing case of his career."
The network has also confirmed Derek Simonds will also return as the showrunner for the third season.

Jessica Biel - who was nominated for an Emmy, a Golden Globe, and Critic's Choice Award for her part in season one - will be an executive producer, alongside Michelle Purple.
We haven't got an exact release date for season three yet, but in the meantime you can binge on season one and two on Netflix now.
