This Girl's Online Shopping Disaster Is The Funniest Thing We've Seen All Week
We've all been there... You see a model wearing a gorgeous dress when you're online shopping, and you think to yourself: "Damn. She looks amazing. Maybe I'll look just as good?" And you click 'order' quicker than Love Island's Marcel telling someone that he used to be in Blazin' Squad.
3-5 working days later and you're sobbing into a tub of Ben & Jerry's Phish Food and cursing whoever came up with standardised sizing. THIS IS NOT A SIZE 12!
I guess that's why it's better to buy clothes from real shops; you know what you're getting yourself into. I couldn't tell you how much money I've saved by simply trying things on before buying them. It sounds crazy, but it's true.
The Internal Communications Officer saw this gorgeous dress online and took the plunge.
How fit is that?! Summer vibes. Plus, sleek and chic. I don't blame her for ordering it.
Except, as you've probably gathered already, it didn't look like that when it came.
Are you ready for this? I don't think you're ready.
Oh, hun. It looks like someone got a Beauty and the Beast Belle costume from the Disney Store and attempted to sew it into a dress for a human woman.
Speaking to Pretty52, the poor girl explained how she felt when she opened up the package.
She said: "I was like what the fuck is this yellow curtain lining?! I ordered about eight weeks ago so I'd forgotten about it. Must have taken them a while to find some curtains to de-line and badly stitch together."
She had some choice words for anyone who fancies getting their hands on one: "If you want to wait forever for something that's not even remotely similar to what you ordered, I'd highly recommend it."
Girl, you're our hero. But please, send it back.
