Justin Bieber surprised festival-goers at the weekend when he joined Ariana Grande on stage at Coachella for his first stage performance in two years. But while most fans were loving it, some accused the star of lip-syncing.
There's always at least one major surprise guest at Coachella, and this year it was Justin's turn, who popped up at the end of Ariana's set to sing his hit song 'Sorry'.
However, eagle-eyed fans claim they spotted some cheeky lip-syncing on behalf of Justin, and if you ask us, they have a point...

Taking to Twitter, some lambasted the singer, with one saying, "Can Justin Bieber not lip sync a live performance just once?"

Justin Bieber lip syncing, then taking the mic away to early, then the production team having to last minute turn Bieber's back tracking off so he could sing it live, only to butcher all the notes is a MOMENT #arichella

"So are we just gonna act like Justin Bieber didn't lip sync his whole time during Ariana's set (sic)," another agreed.
Ouch - but to be fair to Justin, he was a major last-minute addition to the set, a fact he pointed out to fans at the end of his performance.
Justin told the crowds: "I came out here, I had no idea I was going to be on stage tonight. Absolutely no idea. I wore this fly outfit not knowing that I was gonna be on stage.
"So anyways this is my first time on stage in like two years, so I had to get my groove back. I had to get my swag back, you know what I'm saying? So thank you so much Coachella. Thank you so much to Ariana Grande."

Justin also managed to tease a new album, telling fans, "And by the way, album coming soon."
