As if we needed more reasons to love Louis Tomlinson, the star has moved fans to tears by helping an old man complete a bucket list following his wife's death.

For the video of his new single, Two of Us, the ex-One Direction star helps 83-year-old Richard tick some tasks off his bucket list in order to raise money for charity.

Sharing the news on his Twitter, Louis wrote: "So a month or so ago I met an amazing man called Richard. He had a few things he wanted to do so I thought I'd help him out. This video feels particularly relevant and powerful to me.

"Richard is a classic example of a fearless man who in light of tragedy still pushes himself to live with as much laughter and happiness as possible."

In the seven-minute long film, Richard revealed that he lost his wife to Alzheimer's Disease in December 2016, with Louis commenting: "I lost someone around the same time. My mum."

It was the same month that Louis tragically lost his mother, Johannah Deakin, following a battle with leukemia.

Over the years, Richard, from Leeds, has worked as a taxi driver, actor and in the RAF. He's also worked as a singer in pubs and clubs since he was 17 and up until his wife, Pat, was diagnosed.

In the film, we see Richard and Louis take on adrenaline-pumping activities such as riding a rollercoaster, driving a race car, flying a helicopter and getting tattoos.

At the end of the film, Louis invites Richard to one of his gigs for one last surprise. During the gig, Louis invites Richard on stage to sing, where even Louis admits he didn't know what to expect.

Richard then belts out as the crowds cheer him on. We got goosebumps and you will too.

It's been a tough time for Louis who also lost his 18-year-old sister, Felicite, this year, making the video even more poignant.

"I will hold you where my heart is, one life for the two of us," the end credits read.
