It's time to pull out the platform boots, practice your peace signs and stock up on girl power because the Spice Girls are set to be appearing on The Jonathan Ross Show next weekend.

News of the 90s girl band's appearance on the show dropped after the line up was accidentally leaked on the show's official website.

It has since been removed but not before it was spotted by eagle-eyed fans.

However, don't get too excited because not all the girls will be sitting on Ross' sofa as Victoria Beckham will not be joining them.

Instead just Mel B, Mel C, Geri Horner and Emma Bunton will be appearing on the show alongside Kylie Minogue and Jack Savoretti.

A Spice Girls fan page also shared the news with a picture of the four spices captioned: "Who's ready for a #SpiceGirlsReunion?"

We're 100 per cent ready for this.

As you can imagine the news that Scary, Sporty, Baby, and Ginger are reuniting was a major bombshell for Spice Girl fans and Twitter has pretty much exploded.

One user wrote: "Slam it to the left if your excited for reunion! Shake it to the right if your excited for reunion!"

Another added: "The Spice Girls are confirmed to be making their big return to TV next week with a new tour and possibly a new music announcement, and I am so beyond excited. Y'all have no idea."

A third user mentioned that the Spice Girls getting back together is just what the UK needs. They wrote: "This is what we needed to recover from #Brexit and all the anger around!"

This isn't the first time we have been teased with the idea of a reunion. Back in February, the girls, including Victoria posed for a selfie together.

The picture got a lot of people excited as it was the first time the group had been together in six years, but our dreams were squashed when no news followed.

Fingers crossed this appearance next weekend will mean an announcement is on its way.
