We're not sure whether unaccompanied adults can cash in on the giveaway, though.

Remember way back when you actually had time to do things you enjoyed for hours and hours, like playing with LEGO?

LEGO is possibly the most versatile, fun toy in the world - and the good news is that Smyths Toys superstores are giving it away for free on May 4th.

It gets better - this giveaway will be happening across the UK and Northern Ireland, in all stores, from 9am on Saturday, May 4th.

Naturally, there's a catch. For a start, the free LEGO will only be available while stocks last.

Secondly, you will probably have to have an actual human child with you to cash in...so rope in nieces, nephews, and any other kids you have access to. You'll be everyone's favourite auntie, anyway! Unless you steal the LEGO for yourself, that is. The giveaway is also limited to one toy per child.

The event has been launched to celebrate the arrival of new Star Wars and Avengers LEGO sets in Smyths stores across the country. No purchase is necessary to pick up your freebie, but lines are likely to be pretty long, so it's a good job that there will be appearances from kids' favourite LEGO and Star Wars characters to keep the kids busy and entertained.

Smyths posted on Facebook about the event, saying "This Saturday 4th May, we have LEGO:registered: giveaways at your local Smyths Toys from 9am, while stocks last. Unlock your creativity at our imagination station AND receive a FREE LEGO:registered: giveaway".

They added: "Giveaways while stocks last. First come first serve basis. Strictly one giveaway per child. No purchase necessary."
