Being glued to our phones is something that we know only too well...

With the likes of Facebook, Snapchat and Instagram just a click away, it can be easy to waste hours upon end scrolling without even batting an eyelid.

But being a bit too glued to our phones can cause arguments with loved ones, especially when we're accused of being more interested in our phones than engaging in actual human conversation.

This is something that one dad is pretty familiar with and his four-year-old daughter just wasn't having any of it.

In fact, Russian rapper Timati's daughter was so damn fed up of having to compete for her dad's attention that she decided to put an end to it.

The feisty four-year-old was fuming with her dad while he spoke on his mobile during a relaxing yacht trip in Saint-Tropez instead of giving her the attention that she so clearly deserved.

Little Alisa had had enough when she suddenly grabbed the phone, turned around and launched it overboard. Oops.

Well if nothing else that'll teach him.

The tattooed rapper looked at his daughter in shock before jumping up to see his phone has disappeared under the water. Don't know where he thought it might have gone like.

And the mischievous little girl simply looked at her dad and smiled like butter wouldn't melt.

The video has gone viral online, notching up nearly 5.7 million views, after Timati shared it with his 12.3 million followers on Instagram.

Some viewers blamed the little girl's parents for not bringing her up to be more respectful - while others thought the clip had been staged.

One said: "This child is out of order. Timati is the one to blame for her bringing her up this way. Let him now enjoy the results."

Another added: "What a hysterical monster."

But someone else argued: "Seriously, why the cheap staged video?!" There's always one person who has to call everything out isn't there?

And it looks like sassy Alisa finally got her own way as she can be seen holding her old man's hand staring into the distance. Finally some father-daughter bonding for the tot, that is what she wanted after all.

And it's certainly a lesson learned for Timati. Any other phone-obsessed parents out there - beware, don't say we didn't warn you.
