A sex and relationship expert claims Seann Walsh's girlfriend, Rebecca Humphries, 'chose to feel worthless' after discovering he'd cheated with his Strictly Come Dancing partner, Katya Jones.

Speaking to This Morning's Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, Louise Van Der Velde defended the comedian after he was pictured kissing Katya on a 'drunken' night out.

After Seann issued a public apology, which seemingly completely forgot to mention his girlfriend, Rebecca posted an emotional open letter which stated: "I'm not being a victim, but he's made me feel worthless."

Referencing the letter, Louise hit out: "I'm sorry, but you're responsible for the emotions that you choose to feel. And it takes on average ten minutes to clear that sense of worthlessness she feels."

Vanessa Feltz, who took part in Strictly herself back in 2013, argued that using the word 'drunken' was not a defense for what Seann and Katya had done.

"I'm not that sure about the word 'drunken', why does that make it anymore forgivable, it's not as if someone force fed them the alcohol," she said.

"They were drinking and drinking to the point that they must have known they were drunk as anything and they would be inhibited, so they have to take responsibility for that.

"And also, having done Strictly, because I did it in 2013 - you know that you're being followed, you're under such scrutiny, they've got millions of viewers."

In the statement, Rebecca also accused her partner of five years of 'inappropriate and hurtful' behaviour, and claimed that although he has spoken to the media, she is yet to receive an apology from him.

Rebecca has received hundreds of messages of support on Twitter, and she has liked a few of them including one saying her boyfriend had 'made a fool of her'.

Someone said: "I've been thinking about you all day, i don't know you but the whole thing is just so cruel & heartbreaking! Something similar happened to me once & it knocked me off my feet because iwasnt expecting it all, so i can vaguely relate to your pain! You got this girl x[sic]".
