Gogglebox's Malone Family Reveal Heartbreaking News Of Dog's Passing
Gogglebox's Malone family revealed they had suffered a devastating loss over the weekend after they announced their beloved pet dog, Frank, had passed away.
While the Manchester-based family havent stated the reasons for the dog's passing, 22-year-old son Shaun revealed they'd been forced to put the 11-year-old pet to sleep on Instagram.
"After 11 years with the family it was so hard but best thing to do for him. We've had to put my dog frank to sleep. R.I.P frankie,"
Many fans rushed to show their support to the family after the heartbreaking admission on social media. One user wrote: "So sorry for your loss it is utterly heartbreaking but remember all the good memories frank gave you all."
Another commented: "This is a beautiful photo. He looks very loved and very content. For him to have 11 years of that with you is great! He was lucky to have such a lovely family and you can see he loved you back just as much!"
A third wrote: "I am sorry about your loss  I am always watching you, all your buddy's frankie and all the rottweilers u have. I am so so sorry, he was a sweet cute dog."
Shaun then replied back to the well-wishers saying: "Thank you everyone for all your kind messages today, it truly means a lot. Thank you to you all X."
Frank apparently first came to live with the Malone's after being rescued by the RSPCA 11 years ago. After announcing the news of his passing, Shaun also reached out to the animal charity to thank them for bringing the family together.
"11 years ago my family got a dog frank from you and unfortunately he has had to be put to sleep today," he wrote to the charity.
"Thank you for letting us have him."
A spokesperson for the RSPCA sent their condolences over to the Malone family and replied: "It's sad to hear this Shaun but we're very glad that Frank was given a second chance and lived a happy life with you,"
Absolutely heartbreaking. Rest in peace, Frank.
