Stacey Solomon is showcasing pregnancy in a very real way, as the star continues to be super real with her followers about the things no one talks about when you're expecting a baby.

After proudly displaying her stretchmarks in an Instagram post earlier this week, Stacey has now shared a picture of her bump covered in - what she describes as - 'fur'.

Sitting on a sun lounger on holiday, the soon to be mum-of-three posted a close-up of her blossoming baby bump, explaining that she'd sprouted hairs all over her tummy since falling pregnant.

Stacey, who is expecting her first baby with Joe Swash, wrote: "I think I'm pregnant with a Furby. I need to know... Did anyone else's belly just suddenly become covered in fur?

"Im not sure if you can see it but all of the grainy little lines are blonde hairs that I've never had before and now I've now started sprouting some lovely thick, wirey black ones around my belly button.

"I've always had my hair tummy snail trail which is a line of hair that practically goes from my cleavage all the way done to my hoo-ha but never an all over fuzz."

Stacey said that she was accepting of the changes her body was going through, but was 'fascinated' why it was happening.

She continued: "I'm not upset by it one bit I've always loved my, furrier than most, body, I'm just so fascinated as to why this happens? What does it mean? Is it to keep the Furby warm? Any incites are much appreciated (I think, as long as they're not scary, if you have something scary to say, DON'T my anxiety can't take it."

Fans were quick to praise Stacey for continuing to be so real about pregnancy, with others offering explanations over the hair growth.

"It's just a hormonal thing, should go when bubba arrived, love your confidence, your amazing [sic]," wrote one person.

A second added: "Mine did I looked like a wookie when I was pregnant."

Some even thought the hair could mean she's expecting a girl, as another commented: "I got a hairy tum but only when pregnant with my daughter, didn't get it with my son..."

Body hair growth is common during pregnancy, and usually goes away after birth.

Stacey and Joe announced they were expecting their first child together in February. Stacey is already mum to two sons, Zachary and Leighton, from previous relationships, while Joe has a son, Harry, from a previous relationship.
