The Spice Girls just completely roasted Jack Whitehall over his offer to replace Victoria Beckham on the reunion tour.

It seems like people aren't willing to let it go that Posh Spice won't be making an appearance, comedian Jack included.

Notoriously posh Jack took to Twitter to offer up his services to 'complete' the line-up.

"Spice Girls Reunion. Yes please. Apparently they are looking for a replacement 'Posh'? You know where to find me," the former Fresh Meat star declared to his six million followers.

His post quickly caught the attention of Mel B, Mel C, Geri Horner and Emma Bunton, who savagely replied: "Is your dad available?"

Jack's dad, Michael Whitehall, often stars beside his son and the two even have their own series together with Netflix - Travels With My Father.

Trying to make light of the situation, Jack joked back: "Yes and he looks great in leather."

Fans lapped up the Twitter exchange, with one exclaiming: "Now I'm imagining your father in leather and it's very difficult to unsee it."

"This exchange is life," tweeted somebody else, and another shared: "I bet that hurt @jackwhitehall."

Baby, Scary, Sporty and Ginger Spice have been pretty active on Twitter since the reunion news was announced, upping the hype ahead of their tour.

While Posh won't be hitting the road with them, she did share a few touching words on Instagram to her girls.

"Today marks a special day for the girls as they announce the first tour dates since we performed together in 2012!" wrote the fashion designer.

"I won't be joining my girls on stage again but being in the Spice Girls was a hugely important part of my life and I wish them so much love and fun as they go back on tour next year."

Victoria continued: "I know they will put on an amazing show and the fantastic fans past and present are going to have a wonderful time! X vb #spicegirls #friendshipneverends."
