Scarlett Moffatt Shares Uplifting Body Positivity Post On Instagram

TV personality Scarlett Moffatt shared an uplifting body positivity message on her Instagram on Sunday, encouraging other women to stop focusing on their so-called 'flaws' and live their best lives away from the pressures of social media.

Beaming for the camera in a monochrome swimsuit on holiday, Scarlett penned a few powerful words for her 1.8 million followers on embracing their bodies.

"Listen up ladies we all do this... pull ourselves to bits. Focus on our flaws, on how we aren't "perfect" I'm guilty top," wrote the former Gogglebox star.

Scarlett continued: "I stare at these amazingly stunning woman on Instagram and think oh no I have wobbly bits here there and everywhere compared to them.

"So I've uploaded this photo as when I first looked at it I instantly said oh Scarlett delete this photo your arm looks weird it's not toned at all & it's hanging over your swimsuit [sic].

"My boobs have been defeated by gravity and aren't where society or the trolls persistently say they should be and my skin is far from perfect but my fellow ladies what I am on this photo is happy and smiling and living my best life, flaws and all [sic]."

Urging her fans to stop listening to the haters and comparing their bodies to the unrealistic standards set by social media, Scarlett shared: "Ladies please look at yourselves and love yourself, realise that no one is truly perfect and you don't need to look perfect in order to live your best life.

"As Dr Seuss said, "Today you are You, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is Youer than You [sic]!"

The queen of the I'm A Celeb 2016 jungle's fans shared kind messages as she posted her message, with them heaping on the praise for her honest words.

"You are a beautiful person with a kind heart. Ignore the trolls," exclaimed one of her fans.

And another declared: "Thank you for posting this, you are so right society is of full of people who knock you down, we have to be kinder to ourselves and others."

We could probably all take a leaf out of Scarlett's book.
