Scarlett Moffatt 'Struggling To Cope With Fame' Following 'Negative Attention'
Scarlett Moffatt has been hitting headlines recently, meaning she has also faced plenty of backlash from her critics.
First, rumours suggested that the former Gogglebox star was more than just best mates with Ant McPartlin upon his separation from his wife Lisa Armstrong, and the suggestions caused her to be trolled online.
Her fitness DVD has been the subject of criticism too, and she is yet to directly address the claims put against her.
And to top it all off, some Saturday Night Takeaway viewers have had a go at her on social media.
The 27-year-old entered the spotlight on Gogglebox with her family and after winning I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! in 2016 her popularity has soared.
A source told Daily Star: "Scarlett has been struggling to cope with all the press attention and barrage of online abuse from trolls since winning I'm A Celeb.
"She has said in one way being crowned Queen of the Jungle has ruined her life. She is really grateful for her career going from strength to strength and all the amazing things that have happened off the back of winning."
Since winning the show, Scarlett has paved a presenting career for herself with jobs on Channel 4 show Streetmate, ITV2's I'm A Celebrity: Extra Camp and Ant And Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway.
But it seems like if these reports are anything to go by, she's finding it all hard to handle.
Insiders close to the TV personality say she is trying to stay positive after facing a difficult few months.
They added: "There have been a few tears in recent months and she has told friends life was easier and more fun when she was on Googlebox.
"Scarlett is a really down-to-Earth, warm, witty and open character. But she's struggled to cope with fame and, though she's developed a thicker skin since winning the show, it's got so bad at times she's broken down in tears and not wanted to leave the house."
