Samantha Markle is in England at the moment trying to contact her estranged half-sister Meghan Markle, although we reckon she's probably got pretty good security around her now she's the Duchess of Sussex and all that.

While on her quest to see her sister, Samantha has also been passing the time by doing a few television appearances - because we all know how much she loves British TV after her run in with Piers Morgan on Good Morning Britain.

This time, Samantha appeared Jeremy Vine's talk show, where she decided to issue a very public apology to her newly royal sister, not long after referring to her as 'Meghan the DuchASS'...

"I would just say that there is so much water under the bridge and so much has spun out of control that was never intended to," Samantha said.

"And you know, I think everybody was hurt not being included or invited to the wedding, but I felt as though it could have all been nipped in the bud had everyone been included, and we all just agreed to move forward with positive resolve.

"The hurt feelings wouldn't have snowballed, but believe it or not, it doesn't mean that we love you any less, I just think that families can be this way when there's confusion and people are hurt. So moving forward, I apologise and wish things could be different."

During her stint on the show, Samantha took part in the phone-in and it's fair to say she didn't get he most positive response from viewers.

Chris from Kent told her: "All we've seen is the hate you've spewed against your sister. If you actually love your sister I think this should have been done in private, not on social media, or going on television saying you're sorry... what you're doing is not right."

"Most of what you read in the tabloids is not true," she responded.

"There have been so many times I've said, in live interviews, favourable things but they were not printed."

Oh dear.
