Royal fans have complained that they can't see enough of baby Archie's face in the latest photo of the six-week-old.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle shared the adorable never-before-seen image of the royal baby to celebrate Father's Day yesterday.

The post read: "Happy Father's Day! And wishing a very special first Father's Day to The Duke of Sussex."

The captivating picture, which has racked over two million likes so far, shows the newborn royal in the arms of 34-year-old Prince Harry, who was celebrating his first Father's Day.

Archie stares directly towards the camera, holding his father's finger with his tiny hand.

Despite many going wild for the photo, fans of the Sussex family have admitted they've been left disappointed with the picture - one of the first of showing his face - as it blocks off his mouth and part of his nose.

One angered fan commented: "Ok... I like the Royal Family, But this picture is a slap in the face!!...

"We understand you want to keep him out of the public eye, then don't post any pictures then, posting the top half of his head is a slap in the face to your followers....

"Get a grip, your brother who will one day be king, your brother who will one day be king, has shown pictures of his 3 children. Why is your kid anymore special?"

Another penned: "Can't see much of his face with Harry's hand in the way!!

"Why can't we see a full face picture??? Just wondering! So sad they have to hide everything!! Are they shame of this baby??? I would be so proud to show my baby off!!

A third wrote: "Why they cover his mouth? What's wrong?" while another echoed the same sentiments: "Why hide your baby? and why filters?"

The furore comes as it was reported that Archie will be baptised next month at St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle.

According to The Sunday Times, the royal baby will wear a replica of the vintage lace gown worn by his father, Prince Harry, on his christening day in 1984.
