Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are reportedly using a £1,119 pram for baby Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor from a popular Dutch brand, instead of the royal family's usual go-to from Silver Cross.

Several generations of the royal family have been pushed around in the prams from Silver Cross, which cost around £1,800, but the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are said to be using one from a different brand, originally gifted to them by one of Meghan's friends during her pregnancy.

According to an insider, the new parents are using a £1,119 Bugaboo Fox whereas the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge used a traditional Silver Cross Sleepover Elegance for Prince George when he was born.

A friend told The Sun: "Meg is loving being a mum. She looks great and she's enjoying these precious newborn weeks.

"The new pram is great and perfect for her long walks trying to get Archie to sleep.

"The Bugaboo was a gift to Harry and Meghan, even before they'd had Archie, from a close friend."

The friend is said to have been impressed by the top-of-the-range buggy after using it herself with her own children, the source also told the tabloid.

Meghan and Harry welcomed their baby boy at the start of the month, announcing his arrival, introducing him to the world and revealing his name all in a matter of a few days.

While Prince Harry has resumed some of his royal duties since he became a father, Meghan hasn't been spotted out and about just yet.

However, sources say she's loving being a new mum and is using her maternity leave to take her new son on long walks around the grounds of Windsor estate, of which their family home, Frogmore Cottage, is located.

The new parents reportedly haven't chosen to hire a nanny to help care for Archie although Meghan's mum, Dora Ragland, has been on hand to help.
