Ryan Thomas and Lucy Mecklenburgh announced they were expecting their first child together at the weekend, just months after getting engaged.
The happy couple, who have been dating two years, sent fans wild as they revealed the news, but nobody was more excited than Ryan's adorable 10-year-old daughter Scarlett.
Sharing a sweet video of the moment he told his little one, Ryan and Lucy thought of the most inventive way to let her know she was soon going to be an elder sister.

Handing her a box that said 'open me,' Scarlett can't believe it when a balloon bursts out which reads: "Your going to be a big sister!(sic)"
(Sure, they might have spelt 'you're' wrongly, but the its still the cutest thing ever...)
When she reads the writing on the balloon, Scarlett covers her face with her hands in excitement and starts crying tears of joy.

Ryan and Lucy then run to give her a hug, as the rest of the family, including Scott and Adam Thomas, celebrate around them.
"OMG this is the most beautiful moment. Congratulations to all 3 of you special times xx," Lucy's Essex pal Kate Wright wrote in the comments.
Meanwhile, Coronation Street actress Catherine Tyldesly gushed: "Babe I'm in bits ... amazing so much love for you guys xxxxx".

TOWIE star Lydia Bright - who also announced she's pregnant last week - commented: "So perfect".
After telling the family their news, Lucy took to social media to make the announcement, beaming alongside Ryan as she held a baby gro.

Ryan will no doubt be thrilled to be a dad again after welcoming Scarlett in 2009 with his Corrie star ex Tina O'Brien.
The actor has had a tough time recently following Roxanne Pallett's scandalous abuse accusations against him while on Celebrity Big Brother, which she later went on to revoke.
But Lucy supported him all the way, and their relationship only grew stronger as a result - with the pair getting engaged on a holiday in Italy at the start of summer.
