One of Love Island 2018's last remaining couples, Zara McDermott and Adam Collard have reportedly split after a series of rows.

The pair decided to go their separate ways, seven months after meeting in the villa following a fight about Adam's partying with Jack Fincham, Sam Bird and Insta-model Brittany Archer, The Sun reports.

A source told the tabloid: "Adam and Zara have spent the last week having furious arguments.

"There's still so much love between them but they have decided for the moment that it's best to go their separate ways.

"They were due to go on a romantic holiday to the Maldives together this week but will no longer be going.

"They did their best to work through their issues but at this stage there's no going back. They have since unfollowed each other on Instagram."

This comes after Zara shared a heartfelt message about "going with your gut" on Instagram.

"If you miss someone tell them. If you love someone remind them. Please don't ever feel embarrassed to vocalise what you feel. You have rights, you have feelings. If someone doesn't respect them or appreciate them that's their own choice. But please do what you want to do in life. Don't be influenced by social media or anything other. Go with your gut. And go for it with your full heart."

The pair, who've since unfollowed each other on social media, were reported to be 'fighting to save their relationship' last week after Adam travelled back to his native Newcastle to give them breathing space and think about their future.

A source told The Sun:"Zara wasn't happy after discovering Adam was out with the group that included Brittany.

"As a girlfriend it isn't always comfortable to see your partner partying with other women you don't know.

"They ended up having a big argument over Adam's antics and he's since gone home to give them some space."

Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham now remain the only couple from the most recent Love Island series to stay together. We can't take any more heartache, Islanders.
