Liam Payne is said to have had a short-lived fling with Love Island 2017 winner Amber Davies shortly before his 'romance' with Naomi Campbell began.
The 'Strip That Down' singer is rumoured to be dating the 48-year-old supermodel after celebrating New Year with her in Ghana.
However, Liam allegedly went home with Amber Davies after an encounter at London nightclub Libertine, just weeks before flying out to be with Naomi.
"Amber's very much Liam's type and doesn't look a world away from one of his former girlfriends. She was very excited to meet him some years ago at the Radio 1 Teen Awards. She told her Twitter followers she fan-girled over him," a source told The Sun.

"Her dreams came true when they went home together after partying at a nightclub in London. There was a real physical attraction between them.
"They were determined nobody should find out, due to his break-up with Cheryl and this new thing with Naomi.
"But he and Amber still keep in touch and text every now and then."

The tabloid claims Liam and Amber started flirting in October last year, four months after Liam's split with Cheryl Tweedy, the mum of his son, Bear.
Liam is also thought to have comforted Amber's ex, Kem Cetinay, when they split, two months after meeting at the Radio 1 Teen Awards in October 2017.
At the time, Kem revealed: "He was one of the first people to text me. It was out of the blue.

After Liam and Amber 'hooked up', they're thought to have enjoyed a number of dates together.
However, Liam is now said to be dating Naomi, who is 23 years his senior, after they were spotted partying together in Ghana.
