After weeks of romance rumours, Joe Sugg's granny Phyllis Sugg has revealed her grandson is "head over heels" for his Strictly Come Dancing partner, Dianne Buswell.

While Joe, 27, and Dianne, 29, have hinted at their relationship, it seems like Joe's granny let it out the bag after watching them perform in Blackpool.

"I may be 95 but I could see that twinkle in his eye - and the way they looked at each other," she told the Daily Mail.

"He brought Dianne over to meet me and that's a sign of romance in the air. She seemed like a lovely girl - I think he might be head over heels."

However, she denied claims Joe went on the show with the intention of meeting someone, adding: "Sometimes these things just happen, we will have to wait and see whether he brings her here to meet the family."

This comes after Joe took to Instagram to share an adorable picture of himself and Dianne, looking lovingly into each other's eyes, with the heartfelt caption: "I may not have won the glitter ball, but I've won something a million times more special."

Throughout the series, Joe and Dianne have refused to confirm or deny whether they're in a relationship, and they were both looking red-faced after being quizzed on This Morning.

When Philip Schofield asked about the nature of their relationship, Joe said:"I have made such a good friend in Dianne.

"We haven't got time to do anything like that, we are so busy dancing."

But Phil pointed out Zoella's younger brother hadn't denied there was romance in the air, instead distracting by saying he was 'too busy'.

Earlier this year, Dianne split with her ex-boyfriend, Emmerdale's Anthony Quinlan, with both of them putting it down to the long-distance as the cause.

Joe and Dianne came second in this year's Strictly Come Dancing, only coming second to BBC filmmaker Stacey Dooley.
