Jessie J has opened up about mental health following her heartbreaking split from Channing Tatum last month.
The 31-year-old took to social media to discuss taking time to "heal" as well as reminding fans to not "let past trauma define who you are".
Alongside a snap of Jessie looking up at the sky, the Brit singer wrote: "Time. Time is the gift. Time is the fear. Time is the magic. Time is the memories.Time is the change. Time is the pain. Time is the healing. Zoom out.

"Go somewhere where your world feels and looks small. Gain perspective. Lay in the sea. Walk to the top of a mountain.
"Drive to view point in a park. Look up at the stars. This isn't to make you feel like your problems or sadness or the feelings you feel are not valid but to know you are NEVER Alone."
The 'Who You Are' singer went on to speak about living in the moment and discussed the importance of speaking openly with those around you.

"Billions of people around the world. Are just trying to smile and mean it. Are actively working out who they are. Are missing someone they have lost. Are feeling worthless. YOU ARE LOVED," she told fans.
"We are all trying to love and accept the stories in our lives that make us desperately want to fast forward or rewind time. When all we have is the now. The very moment.
"With the puzzle pieces of life sometimes put together in the wrong places. They can hurt until tended to. Don't let past or current trauma define who you are. You can walk away from it.

"Take the time to put those puzzle pieces in the right place. Tend to YOU. Be vulnerable. Be there for YOU. Be there for people around you and lift each other up. Break the cycle. Be open. Talk. Be there for yourself.
"Recognise the patterns of behaviour you have that can cause some of the hurt. Look inwards. Look outwards. Walk away from parts of yourself and people or situations that trigger parts of you that are unhealthy. Be honest."
Jessie ended the post by sending love to fans who are struggling, remind them they're "stronger than [they] know]" and including the phone number to the US-based National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.

"Sending LOVE to anyone who feels alone. We need you around. You are stronger than you know, and are capable of finding your happy time again," she continued.
"Talk to someone who can give you professional advice. Honour your pain to be heard by the right ears. It's your TIME, so take your TIME."
The post comes after the singer appeared to break her silence on the split last week, writing on Instagram: "Delayed emotions are.... well.... not so fun."

Meanwhile, Channing is apparently already moving on after reportedly joining celebrity dating app, Raya.
"Channing's new profile popped up for LA users of the app last week, it's full of sexy photos and he's been very active on it," a source told RadarOnline.
"Nobody can quite believe he's moving on so quickly.
"It doesn't look like he's nursing a broken heart or thinking about patching things up with his ex, and it's likely Jessie's friends have already seen the profile as the app is so popular."
Jessie and Channing, 39, began dating just over a year ago, in October 2018.
They were first linked after being spotted playing crazy golf together, before going Instagram official in April this year.
The Magic Mike star had previously split from wife of nine years, Jenna Dewan in April last year before divorcing in the October.
Jenna has since moved on with American actor Steve Kazee and the couple are now expecting a baby.
