Jack Finacham has spoken out after being criticised for choosing to buy an adorable bulldog puppy with Dani Dyer, instead of adopting a pooch from a shelter.
"This is the first time I've ever brought up a puppy myself. My family and I have always rescued dogs and continue to do so only 2 weeks ago was the last one," he told his Twitter followers. "I will give this puppy the best possible life , love and care . A dog is for life. We just fell in love with her."
This comes after the the Love Island winners revealed they'd bought their gorgeous new puppa, Sandy, from a breeder.

Jack uploaded an adorable snap of their new baby on his Instagram on Wednesday night, but was forced to turn the comments off after fans showed their disappointment they didn't adopt.
Dani also posted a video of Sandy on her Instagram on Wednesday afternoon, but it wasn't long before the comments section was flooded with 'disappointed' fans.
One user wrote: "You could have used your 'fame' for good and showed everyone how amazing it is to adopt a dog from a shelter and promote that!

"Every time someone buys a dog from a breeder, a dog in a shelter loses out on a home and gets put down! If you were an 'animal lover' you would never buy a dog!"
"We aren't haters we just know what's right from wrong and if you did your 'homework' you'd learn that true to type bulldogs shouldn't look like this," another fumed. "Infant google true to type pugs whilst you're at it then go and look at what these so called breeders are producing!!"
However, other fans rushed to defend the couple, who clearly adore their new baby, adding: "Why can't you leave them alone it's their choice if they won't to buy the pup. By the way she is lush."
