Love Island fans are still reeling over Jack Fincham and Dani Dyer's shock break-up, and now the former stationery salesman has been overheard discussing the reasons behind the split while chatting to his mate in a bar.
Although there is little context to the conversation which was recorded by somebody in the pub, Jack allegedly hinted to his friend that Dani had 'split up for publicity'.
The friend suggested that reality TV couples "break up for publicity when it goes quiet". And according to Mail Online, Jack said: "I'm not like that though - that's her."
The Love Island star continued: "I'm not being funny yeah, but if it was on the other foot would you have done it? I said you, listen yeah, you made your decision. You, I've not said a word to no one. I've been posting what I normally do.

"I said when you've been and gone tomorrow, post on Instagram saying I've made a mistake, I'm sorry and that's what you're gonna be doing. I'm not getting back with you."
Jack reportedly joked: "I won that show not her, I was the funniest one on it!"
A rep for the Love Island star said: "It's been an incredibly difficult and emotional time for Jack and it's really sad that at this time someone decides to covertly record him trying to have a quiet conversation with a friend."
Jack has not yet publicly commented on his break-up with Dani, after she announced the shock news on her Instagram story last week.
In a now-deleted post, the reality star wrote: "Jack and I have sadly decided to part ways.

"It's been an incredible six months and we will always have a place in our hearts for each other but sadly we have come to the realisation that it's not meant to be in the long term.
"We both plan to stay friends. I hope you'll all understand."
Fans have been left in the dark over the reasons behind their split, although rumours suggest that their busy schedules had torn them apart.

Dani also recently vented her anger over Jack "talking sh*t" about their sex life.
The pair famously refrained from having sex in the Love Island villa, and moved in together straight after the show ended.
