Demi Lovato has said she is "tired of being ashamed" of her body after sharing an unedited bikini photo on Instagram.
The 27-year-old singer shared a photo of herself from a holiday in Bora Bora back in May with her 73.5 million followers on Thursday (6th September).
In the photo, the 'Sorry Not Sorry' star poses in a pool look over her shoulder with her right leg raised - and it's safe to say she looks amazing.

But for Demi, posting the photo - which she captioned "it's CELLULIT!!!!" - was nothing less than her "biggest fear".

The singer and actress of Disney fame admitted to fans she had edited photos in the past, including photos from the holiday she originally posted in May - something she wasn't proud of.
"I'm just literally sooooo tired of being ashamed of my body editing it (yes the other bikini pics were edited - and I hate that I did that but it's the truth) so that others think I'm THEIR idea of what beautiful is, but it's just not me. This is what I got," penned Demi.
She continued by saying she hoped for this to be a "new chapter in my life to be about being authentic to who I am rather than trying to meet someone else's standards," adding "So here's me, unashamed, unafraid and proud to own a body that has fought through so much and will continue to amaze me when I hopefully give birth one day."

Demi revealed she had punished herself with gruelling exercise regimes and diets while working on film and TV sets in the past.
"It's such a great feeling to be back in tv/film while not stressing myself with a strenuous workout schedule before 14 hour days, or depriving myself from a real birthday cake rather than opting for watermelon & whip cream with candles because I was terrified of REAL cake and was miserable on some crazy diet shit," she said.
"Anyway, here's me, RAW, REAL! And I love me. And you should love you too!," finished the singer before revealing the exciting news to fans that she is "working on an anthem".

Demi finished her post by adding "Just so everyone's clear.. I'm not stoked on my appearance BUT I am appreciative of it and sometimes that's the best I can do. I hope to inspire someone to appreciate their body today too."
Hear hear to that, Demi.
Fans are no doubt glad to see Demi back at her best after the singer was hospitalised last summer.
In July 2018, the singer 'Confident' singer was found unconscious at her Hollywood home by The Los Angeles Police Department. She was treated with an anti-overdose drug called Naloxone before being rushed to Cedars-Sinai hospital in LA.
In a statement about the incident at the time, Demi said: "I have always been transparent about my journey with addiction. What I've learned is that this illness is not something disappears or fades with time. It is something I must continue to overcome and have not done yet.

"I now need time to heal and focus on my sobriety and road to recovery. The love you have all shown me will never be forgotten and I look forward to the day where I can say I came out on the other side."
Demi added: "I am forever grateful for all your love and support throughout this past week and beyond. Your positive thoughts and prayers have helped me navigate through this time."
Lovato closed her statement by promising fans, "I will keep fighting."
