Daisy May Cooper has won hoards of fans for her warts-and-all brand of comedy over on social media, and the screenwriter's reporting of her own childbirth has been no different.
The This Country writer, 34, gave birth to a healthy baby boy last week, but she has described the "traumatic" birth over online.
In her first post since announcing her (yet unnamed) newborn's arrival, she thanked the delivery suite at Gloucester Hospital for looking after her, adding: "Its been quite a traumatic few days and they have gone above and beyond."

Next, Daisy went on to thank a specific midwife - Debbie Taylor - in a following post, who she said "practically saved [her] life" when she had an emergency C-section with her first born, daughter Pip, in 2018.
She also described in her typically honest tones how "superhero" Debbie helped her during a particularly bad bout of trapped wind - a common symptom of pregnancy and labour.
"Yesterday [Debbie] helped me from being consumed by my own farts when I was in agony with trapped wind," Daisy wrote alongside a string of laughing face emojis.
"Feel so blessed to know this superhero and all the other incredible midwives who had looked after me and made me laugh through all the discomfort @gloucester_birthunit @deliverysuitegrh."

Now, Daisy is being praised for her brutal honesty and sharing the realities of childbirth.
"@daisymaycooper thank you for saying exactly how it is after giving birth," wrote one fan.
"Ahhh we love you Daisy! Hope you do a cracking fart so you can get you and the baby home!" joked another.
"Oh daisy you are increds. Wonder Woman," wrote a third.

"Well done to you @daisymaycooper and all the wonderful midwifes (aka superhero's) our there," said another, while one more simply put the hashtag: #keepingitrealwithdaisy.
The new mum-of-two continued her streak of keeping it real on Monday when she posted a photo of her pumping breast milk from her hospital bed, before treating fans to a rap, set to the tune of her pump. Too LOLs.
