Sainsbury's Compared Beyoncé's New Ivy Park Range To Its Uniform

Sainsbury's Compared Beyoncé's New Ivy Park Range To Its Uniform

Now we can't un-see it.

Beyonce fans have been eagerly awaiting the drop of her new and revamped Ivy Park range for months.

A collab with sportswear brand Adidas, the new gender-neutral athleisure collection promised to be both stylish and comfortable, offering everything from jumpsuits, to biker shorts to asymmetric dresses.

And while the outfits are going down a hit over the pond - sported by everyone from Cardi B to Reese Witherspoon - back in the UK it's proving hard to ignore just how similar the design is to that of the Sainsbury's supermarket uniform.

Noticing the likeness for themselves, the team over at Sainsbury's were quick to make light of the comparison, taking to social media with a hilarious meme in which they claimed they'd been: "Repping since 1869".

In order to make the reference a little more obvious, the supermarket wrote "#SainsBey" in the corner. And the responses were absolutely iconic.

Even fans who hadn't seen Sainsbury's incredible tweet were quick to point out the similarity, too.

One wrote: "I really cannot un-see the Sainsbury's-esque vibe on Beyoncè's latest release and I hate whoever brought the comparison to light".

While another agreed: "This new #IvyPark #addidas collection got me thinking people are out here proudly posting their @sainsburys uniforms. I literally don't know a civilian from a store assistant."

A third joked: "What if I go Sainsburys after the gym in Ivy Park and they ask me why am I late coming back to the shopfloor...".

LOL. Oh Bey, you weren't to know.

Beyonce's Ivy Park collection is now live (

The Adidas x Ivy Park collection officially dropped online yesterday, and despite the funny comparisons, it's still flying off the shelves.

While several items come in the same red/orange colour palette as the Sainsbury's uniform, the collection also offers multiple other options including a white/red combination and several items in neon orange.

Items range in size from XS to XL, and are priced anywhere between $25 to $250 (around £19 to £190).

Of course, Queen Bey fans up and down the country will still be buying every item. But maybe they should avoid doing a food shop in any of the Sainsbury's style gear....
