Last night, our celeb shipping radar flew off the scale when Meghan Markle and Beyoncé met for the first time. And the best part is Bey called Meghan "my princess".

WE CANNOT.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were special guests at the London premiere of The Lion King in London's Leicester Square, and Beyoncé, who voices Nala in the highly-anticipated live action remake, was also in attendance with her husband Jay Z.

After the red carpet, cast from the filmed lined up to meet the couple, and this is the moment musical royalty and actual royalty came face to face.

Meghan and Beyoncé, both 37, embraced in a hug and at that moment Bey dotingly called her "my princess" in her ear.

STOP IT.

The ladies then had some standard baby chat (Bey called Archie "beautiful"), before Meghan greeted Jay Z and all three spoke about their busy schedules. There was an adorable moment when The Duchess grabbed and squeezed Beyoncé's lower arm as if to say "WE'RE GUNNA BE BFFS I JUST KNOW IT."

Naturally, the people of Twitter went nuts for the meet...

Soon after, Harry joins them and gives Queen Bey a tentative am-I-allowed-to-touch-thee hug before shaking Jay-Z's hand.

It's the first time the two female mega stars have officially met but it follows a blossoming social media friendship. Let's not forget Bey and Jay accepted a BRIT Award in front of a Tim O'Brien portrait, in the style of the Mona Lisa, depicting Meghan all dolled up as a princess - which says it all really.

In a caption on their Instagram, Beyoncé wrote: "In honor of Black History Month, we bow down to one of our Melanated Monas, Congrats on your pregnancy! We wish you so much joy."

Ok, we're not one to force a friendship or anything but surely the only feasible next step is weekly dinners with Bey and Jay at Frogmore Cottage and family holidays with Blue Ivy, Rumi, Sir and baby Archie in tow?

CAN'T WAIT.
