Ant McPartlin is reportedly ready to make his presenting comeback in January after a 10-month hiatus.

The presenter is said to be making a return to television when filming for next year's Britain's Got Talent begins next month.

This year's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here saw This Morning host, Holly Willoughby, step in to work alongside Declan Donnelly while Ant took time to rehabilitate himself following his drink-drive charge in April.

Now it seems Ant is ready to make his return, as a TV insider revealed to the Mirror he'll be back filming in January.

"Ant has been working with ITV bosses to get a date in the diary for his return," they said.

"He'll be back filming with Dec and Stephen Mulhern for Britain's Got Talent in mid-January - it's sure to be an emotional reunion for them all."

Filming for the new series will kick off next month as Ant and Dec provide the usual backstage entertainment as they prepare hopeful contestants before they go on stage to try and impress judges Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon, David Walliams and Amanda Holden.

It's believed filming for the new series will start next month as ticketing websites are already offering fans the chance to sit in the live audience.

Ant's ex-wife Lisa Armstrong reportedly won't be working behind-the-scenes as a make-up artist on BGT this year.

Lisa has apparently been axed as working with her ex-husband has become 'untenable'.

It's unclear whether the Geordie duo will make an appearance at the National Television Awards on 22nd January due to BGT filming commitments.

Once again, Ant and Dec are up for the Best TV Presenter gong, which they've famously won 16 years in a row.

Last year, Ant made an emotional acceptance speech thanking fans for their support after his return to TV following his first stint in rehab for drug and alcohol addiction.

However, Ant was readmitted to rehab later that year after he was charged with drink-driving following a three car smash in March.
