Amy Schumer has just revealed she and husband Chris Fischer are expecting their first child, and they delivered the news in the most unusual way.
The comedian, who recently boycotted the Super Bowl halftime show in support of Colin Kaepernick, announced the news in a political statement.
She asked her friend, journalist Jessica Yellin from News Not Noise, to post her pregnancy announcement at the bottom of a list of Amy's recommendations of who to vote for in the forthcoming midterm elections.
Amy also posted an unusual picture on Instagram, directing her followers to head to her friend's Instagram page where she made the announcement, telling her followers: "About to announce some exciting news on @jessicayellininsta page.
"Please follow her for up to the minute #newsnotnoise she breaks down what's really going on. She agreed to post a lil noise today for me! Follow her and VOTE!!"
Along with the message, Amy posted a recent picture of Meghan Markle holding her stomach while walking hand in hand with Prince Harry - except Amy photoshopped her and her husband's head on instead.
Amy and her husband Chris married in February of this year, after starting to date one another in November 2017.
Although there's no news on the sex of the baby, or how far along the pregnancy is, I think we can all agree it's pretty exciting news.
This comes just days after Amy joined Rihanna in boycotting the Super Bowl halftime show over the NFL's treatment of Colin Kaepernick, who famously knelt down during the national anthem.
"Friday thought. I wonder why more white players aren't kneeling. Once you witness the truly deep inequality and endless racism people of color face in our country, not to mention the police brutality and murders. Why not kneel next to your brothers? Otherwise how are you not complicit?" she asked her Instagram followers.
"I think it would be cool if @maroon5 backed out of super bowl like @badgalriri did. I personally told my reps I wouldn't do a Super Bowl commercial this year. I know it must sound like a privilege ass sacrifice but it's all I got.

"Hitting the NFL with the advertisers is the only way to really hurt them. I know opposing the NFL is like opposing the NRA. Very tough, but don't you want to be proud of how you're living? Stand up for your brothers and sisters of color.
"And the hottest thing a guy can do is get down on one knee. Not to propose but to reject the treatment of his teammates by this country. Anyone who says its disrespectful to our military please read up on the fact that a lot of veterans are proud of what @kaepernick7 is doing and fully support him. What are your thoughts?"
