Say what you want about Amanda Holden's Britain's Got Talent wardrobe, you can't deny the woman doesn't play it safe - and last night was no different. Side note: we are here for it.

In the most recent installment of the ITV talent show, the 48-year-old judge wore a dress of two parts. On the one side, we got a formal, white high-neck, floor-length gown. On the other, a sartorial garden of sorts featuring embroidered flowers, twigs and spiderwebs overlaid on a completely sheer bodice.

The TV star completed her semi-final look with jewellery by Stephen Webster.

The stand-out Nicolas Jebran number received a lot of compliments when Amanda posted it on Insta, from her celebrity friends and fans alike.

Katie Piper commented: "Perfect" while Ruth Langsford chimed: "Stunning!"

"Omg," said The X Factor's Louisa Johnson.

While Abbey Claney said it with a simple "Wow" and a ton of fire emojis.

But the winning comment had to be "What a lovely lady garden!" courtesy of actor Charlie Condou. *Claps*

However, there were some viewers who deemed the outfit "inappropriate" for a family show.

One viewer vented: "What is it with Amanda Holden and flaunting as much of her chest that's allowed before the watershed?"

"Amanda it's a family show as lovely as your dress is it was not appropriate. I was slightly embarrassed," another offered.

"@AmandaHolden that dress isn't family tv appropriate! Please remember your audience," somebody else agreed.

A fourth urged: "Amanda, you know and we know you are a beautiful lady BUT please dress more respectful on a family show."

It isn't the first time Amanda's received similar complaints: in 2017, Ofcom recieved 663 complaints in three months after the TV star wore a plunging Julien Macdonald gown, The Telegraph reported.

'Inappropriate' or not, we think Amanda looks incredible.
