Addison Rae has divided the internet by wearing an 'offensive' religious themed bikini in a now-deleted Instagram post.
The online personality, 21, posted the snap to Instagram on Tuesday (2 August), and it featured her posing in a bikini emblazoned with 'Father', 'Son' and 'Holy Spirit' in reference to the Holy Trinity.
The £82 bikini is from the brand Praying, but the TikTok star's picture only showed her wearing it from the waist up.

However, even with the absence of the 'Holy Spirit' emblazoned bikini bottoms, it did not go down well with many social media commenters who said it was offensive to Christians.
One Instagram user wrote on the deleted post: "Nah this disrespectful to Jesus. Sad what y'all do for money."
"This is not okay! BLASPHEMY!" added a second while a third wrote: "Is nobody gonna talk about this disrespecting religions [sic]."

"So messed up," wrote a fourth Instagram user.
However, not everyone found the bikini offensive.
The swimwear was reportedly praised by photographer Mark 'The Cobrasnake' Hunter and Tate McRae.
The bikini's product description on Praying's website reads: "Incredible faith powerful healing. Triangle Tie Side. Peace be on you and with your spirit."
While Addison might have deleted the bikini snap from her Instagram, it was reposted to Twitter and the reaction there was just as divided.

"I can't see nothing wrong with it," wrote one viewer of the bikini, while another quoted the Bible and implied the TikToker would pay for her actions in the afterlife: "The Lord laughs at the wicked for he knows their day is coming."
Addison is not the only celebrity to don a Holy Trinity bikini and a version of the look was also sported by Christina Aguilera on Instagram.
The 'Genie in a Bottle' songstress wore the French version of the outfit which read: "Pere, Fils, Saint Esprit."
If the comments on Aguilera's bikini are anything to go by, fans of the singer simply thought it looked good.

"Excuse me young lady, you're not allowed to be this GORGEOUS," gushed one fan.
A second wrote: "Wooooow. Looking hot mama [sic]."
However, as the majority of top comments on her post were in English, it could be that the religious connotations of the bikini went over fans' heads.
